We are local mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, and business owners who volunteer our time and resources through a variety of engaging opportunities to assist those most in need in our community — our fellow women and children.
We develop exceptionally qualified civic leaders who are able to collaborate with local partners to identify urgent needs and improve our local community through volunteer and fundraising efforts.
The JLGWH works hard for our community, but we always make sure we enjoy our time spent with local women and children. Our fundraisers and projects give us a chance to spend time as a JL family and celebrate coming together for a greater good.
Support our Mission
As a nonprofit organization, we always welcome additional support. Please visit our donation page to help support our mission and the women and children of our local communities.
While celebrating 40 years of service to the Greater Winter Haven community, JLGWH unfortunately lost one of our founding members, Caroline Beckley. Without her desire to start this local League, her skills, and her compassion we would not be where we are today without her. Please join us in remembering this amazing woman of service.
