Silver Tassel Scholarship

Junior League of Greater Winter Haven is proud to present the Silver Tassel Scholarship Awards to local high school seniors in recognition of their outstanding volunteer efforts.

We invite you to nominate a senior from the Greater Winter Haven area. Included in the application is an essay portion to be completed by the nominee. 

This award will honor high school seniors who:

• Have contributed a considerable amount of time and effort volunteering in the community.
• Is a role model to others because of his or her leadership and dedication.
• Has created an awareness of his or her project(s) within the community through volunteer activities.
• Has taken on significant volunteer work that has made a positive impact on the Greater Winter Haven area.

This is your chance to help recognize the valuable contribution high school seniors make to our community each day. The JLGWH will present a $500 scholarship for the selected honored seniors to attend their school of choice.
